The only reason they were wrong is because almost no one predicted the extent to which governments would be willing to print cash and throw it around like a drunk 18 year old at a strip club.
That period has come and gone and the outcome (2 years down the track) is inflation moving to record highs and central banks now having to increase interest rates.
The days of easy money are over.
