MND / ALS is caused by astrocytes clogging the system.
Now the person who knows best about MPL is Bahrami his studies are world class followed by Professor Morris then along come the rest.
Bahrami agrees in his study that MPL down regulates IGF-1R .
Now have a read of this study and you will see the link.
Modulation of the IGF-1R MToR pathway attenuates motor neurone toxicity of human ALS SOD1 astrocyte.

Compare that to Bahrami's study.
Monepantel anti tumour activity mediates through inhibition of major cel cycle and tumour growth Pathway. 2021.
So, in precis MPL cleans out the mutant astrocytes leaving the clean astrocytes to repair the damage.
Its an excellent drug.
