If it was me, I would follow this set of tests , I am not sure how they will play it.
1. Speech improvement
2. Swallowing improvement
3. Balance4 . Functional activity5 . Fine motor skills
6. Handgrip strength
7. Hand tremor score8. Elbow flexion
9. Knee extension10. Weight gain.
Earliest sign of success for me is to alleviate difficulty in swallowing, a huge amount of nerves are involved . If there was an improvement in that regard , one would think we are hitting the sweet spot in the repair cycle.
