Yelta is the standard gauge terminus northwest of Mildura and Merbein in Victoria.
It doesn't often see trains but late on Friday 30 August 2024, a Pacific National grain train originated there, and on Saturday morning is at Ararat on its way to Geelong.
On the Victorian board gauge, a GNC 'grainy' is at Quambatook, presumably loading.
