so the Northern grain belt of NSW got much more than forecasted when you take the past 4 or 5 days into account - I was expecting the tail end to give some good falls to nw NSW today but does appear weakening - still very un "el nino" like - this change is obviously the Indian Ocean helping out - i have always suspected it is more important to us than the Pacific really, especially in winter
