    it all depends on the terms or fine print on them. There are many types of offtakes, for instance, the one will Piedmont is a floor and ceiling (subject to market), but also some which takes a discount to market price, and/or 3-6 month averages for price...I would imagine the up and coming battery and auto makers in the US would want to take advantage of IRA compliant stuff..
