Agreed. Its good to see this acknowledged by the board and their emphasis that JB has sacrificed his personal life (and taking planes on weekends) to juggle his sudden appointment was unusual. JB was emitting 'bro i don't even wanna be CEO' vibes. We didn't know if BL was pissed or for other personal reasons, but i get the feeling his departure was definitely not 'planned'. The sudden departure wasn't good for anyone.
JB mentioning the Chairman-CEO paired dynamic is also illuminating as it demonstrates they are putting a bit more thought into their candidates.
