Further to my comments earlier today… while he didn’t have me at hello, it sure didn’t take long to convince me of JB’s intellectual capacity, experience and ability to steer SYA through turbulent waters, to the point that I even felt a bit sorry for him during Louis’s final questioning, although I appreciated GT for doing it. I came away realising that JB is a no BS typical Aussie bloke of a particular generation who’s not into all the fluff of self promotion and social media. But it is a necessary element in these times and he’s heard this loud and clear. I respect him for preferring to manage expectations and not create false hope which generates short term excitement only to lead to disappointment when the deal doesn’t eventuate. He’s been badly slandered when a lot of the problem is the disappointment shareholders have experienced due to all the tantalising posts implying impending off takes. JB did not approve of this posturing and thankfully we won’t see that going forward. I hope people can stop attacking the guy. I’m glad we have him, he’s a gem who brings huge value to the table and we need him, especially now.
