That's my question, can they decide it on their own? Surely PLL don't have so much control over the project that they can force SYA to produce at a substantial loss?
As one of the highest cost producers this company will be on the chopping block very early on. I think this might end up with a court case between PLL and SYA unless there are carefully worded stipulations on C&M.
If the management wasn't so busy making arrangements for their next pay rises, they'd already be looking at the possibility of C&M by mid 2024.
If the market price keeps collapsing, it should be done early so the company doesn't risk failure and a cheap takeover bid that screws all retail investors.
