A fairly important difference is Apple actually had sales with their first Macintosh. In fact, early sales were strong, but then slowed down. As BRN has conceded, Akida 1.0 has not been able to penetrate the market in any material way.

Furthermore, it is incredible how often posters here rely on the old "X also started off just like BrainChip with everyone doubting it and look at it now" argument to validate their unwavering belief in BRN. (X = any massively successful tech/chip company).

What you are forgetting is that for every one X, there would be 100's if not 1000's of other companies in which shareholders/founders were just as convinced was going to be the next big thing (just like you are with BRN), which ended up failing never to be heard of again.
