    I would imagine that BRN's decision could be due to Intel's interest in the area as well as NVIDIA taking point on data centers where they've got the power and influence to make real impacts in that sector(for now).
    I'd say you're right with your assumption that it's an easy choice to go for edge as it's an untapped market with the least amount of competition.
    To your point about data centres - you could argue that BRN has the potential to change the fundamental nature of what a data centre's purpose is in the future. Why need all that centralised infrastructure that travels globally to be processed when you could churn through the data in a localised & decentralised manner? I think the beauty in their IP is in their ability to disrupt the current definition of a data centre.

    With regards to their current value, I've been thinking that maybe they're going in the same direction as TSMC? In a way that they're crucial to all components/architecture with their IP, but that they're able to really drive home how essential they are. Even without a market cap that's as high as, say, Intel.
