As for shorters, the best way to dilute their effect is newsflow, over which we have no influence, or improving the Top 20.
We spend over $300,000 every year on Investor Relations. It achieves next to nothing. We should be an industry spokesperson in Australia, yet we get nothing. AI dominates the headlines, yet we appear nowhere.
Tony Dawe earns around $200k per annum. At other ASX companies people in the same role organise meetings, webinars, presentations, one to one meetings for management. This attracts sensible funds to the Top 20, which in turn attracts other sensible investors.
Peter, if you read these comments then please consider at least listening to some pitches from IR experts. That will open your eyes to what can be achieved. Tony Dawe is a good man, but he does not offer value for money and is restfully seeing out the remainder of his career.
