you clearly have no experience how a giant enterprise is operating, nor knowledge how a product line is running at such a big company.
heaps of meetings were held to start a concept product, endless communications within the departments, across teams, months if not years for only make the wheel turning. Designers, engineers, managements, manufacturers, suppliers, suppliers of suppliers, thousands or more people working on it. Careers, promotions, profits, bonuses are counting on it.
this HEAVY train is not that easy to be stopped as one-off. Concept is built, the product line is built!
