The reason the share price doubled just under a year ago was due to ill-informed investors believing Mercedes was putting Akida into production when it only had a concept car on display. It crashed back to earth soon after.
Other than that it has declined from around $0.9 to what it is now which is:
POTENTIAL from yet-to-be-confirmed deals for IP.
On the other hand, Mercedes know how to make a car with Akida in it to save electricity, and that is important for the distance traveled between recharging.
So we may reasonably expect something in the works for their production vehicles this year.
Mercedes are under no obligation to say whether or not they are using Akida, nor from what we know is anyone else.
The only indicator that matters will be REVENUE from IP.
Typically the market may provide some markup for revenue from evolving unicorns.
It will take some time for BRN to get there given its present MC.
What will matter most is the rate of increase in revenue.
It IMO remains a long haul.
