Found this video of Markus and others going into a bit more detail on Mercedes' new CLA concept vehicle.

When asked by the interviewer about the similarities between the EQXX and the CLA concept vehicle (see video link and video at 16min 55sec), Markus said this:

"There was a lot of carry over, so the battery is what was seen in eqxx, our own motor was seen in eqxx, the screen that we were using in eqxx is exactly a carry over to the concept A class here. So many technology innovations that we saw in this Tech program, and this was always our promise, lets try it in the tech program and let's come to a proof point, later on we're going to see it in a serious car, CLA which we're going to see next year, and in production then in '25."
