yes, my view is that 2 years wouldn't have been realistic. from today my opinion is a horizon of at least 10 to see any substantial return.

I have mentioned before that I'm happy with the progress that has been made to date. for reference my first investment in BRN was 2015. there are steps along the way that have been less than ideal but for the most part I think the traction being made is undeniable and for anyone that's been around long enough will appreciate the difference Sean has made compared to LDN.

something that has been a short coming of BRN in the past has been a lack of commercial know how from senior management. Peter is a smart guy, but he's mostly reasearch and intelligence. I think there is a significant disconnect between academics and the application in the real world which is maybe why AKIDA 1.0 hasn't really seen the market adoption we would have liked. having said that I can accept that this extends the investment horizon and appreciate the company is able to have good communication with customers and incorporate improvements into AKIDA 2.0

you can see that each quarter the company is extending is ecosystem and it's only a matter of time before the first adoption shows up in the financial statements. if the market hasn't reflected that already then I think we'll be in for a bit of a price adjustment similar to what's happening with WBT now.
