    I love this bit:

    Brain does work on an asynchronous level, which is fire when needed, pass that forward, and whereas BrainChip has taken a much more simplified, single clock design. So it uses clock gating, rather than wake up and fire from an execution standpoint, even though the communication between the various neural processing engines and nodes is wake up and fire, in effect. So yes, it does not need asynchronous approaches that would be natural in a true bio-neuromorphic approach or companies like Intel that have actually taken that to heart and tried to build it from that standpoint. I mean, they’re great, but they’re also, from today’s technology, very compute intensive and non-intuitive, weirdly non-intuitive for technologies.

    I was going to give a few other examples of our disruptive tech from the interview, but it all is great listening/reading.
