Point being, anything can be pulled together to support an argument, whether pro or against. The 12 mo timeline presented i) was probably easiest to obtain and present, ii) relevant to the conversation, and iii) pertinent to counter the arguments you/pierre are putting forward.

Not having a go at your points of view, just your method.
