Whether it's because the discussions get silly when people are upset about the falling price or because he just doesn't like posting bad news, Seagull rarely posts when things look bearish and posts prolifically when things are looking bullish. You just unconditionally post bullishly regardless of what's happening (which is why you have a lot of followers etc).

I'm sure when things turn around he'll be back.

If you're suggesting he left because the discussions are stupid, keep in mind that you are a contender for the person who is most easily baited and gets into arguments where you get nasty towards others. You're also a contender for the most biased member of these discussions (though a couple of the extreme bears would beat you).

At the end of the day, Seagull's choice to post or not is his.

And you could summarise the last couple of Sunday morning TA analyses he could have given with "It looks terrible and probably won't improve until we have fundamental improvement". But people love the detailed structure of his posts.
