I've sold at multiple points along the way mate, including 38.5 cents, 24.5 cents and 14.5 cents. What's not sharp is chastising people for their exit points, when all of those exit points have been above the current share price of 13.5 cents. Coulda, shoulda, woulda sold higher, but hindsight is a b*tch, isn't it?
Holding onto poor performing stocks because you can't handle the mental pain of selling at a loss just makes you an immature and ineffective investor. Having sold various parcels along the way, I could double my previous max holding (2.4m shares) of AGY if I chose to right now, precisely because I chose to sell at a loss, rather than holding on for an even greater loss.
That being said, I don't plan to rebuild my position here until either a milestone is actually achieved, or near term funding issues are sorted. As I've previously mentioned, I expect to see AGY conduct a cap raise in H1 2024, where I may be able to rebuild my AGY holding at around the 10 cent mark, or maybe even lower with a bit of luck. There's money to be made elsewhere in the meantime.
