It goes like this .

Time: Buy at the ask 70 units & sell at the bid 30 units
1 minute or mere seconds later sell 5 at one pip down.
Add to that the use of shorting and it's an easy game to play in between news events.
Mostly these trades are done on Chi-x.
Rinse repeat, until you get a stop order triggered or a holder simply gets nervous/the shits/tired etc etc.
Its done in the other direction too mind you. Its all about "looking" legit.
