Well I'm a bit older and have been investing for a decade or two longer.
Share price is market cap divided by SOI.
Why would the market cap halve?
Some consolidations have gone badly for the company - certainly.
The question is why and would it have happened anyway.
A bad result or loss of belief in a company will reduce the share price.
A bad company's share price will fall regardless.
If you believed in PCL a consolidation would not make any difference.
At the moment we are looked at as a micro specy and that certainly affects JV partners view of PCL.
If the exploration comes up dry like in 2012 the share price will go down - that is a certainty.
