As of 12/02/2023 1700hrs Perth, Western Australia time, the Marine Traffic Global Ship Tracking System positions the SW EMPRESS seismic survey vessel, southeast of PCL's PEL:87 planned 3D seismic survey area. In the next 24-48 hours the following could eventuate:

1. The SW EMPRESS steams straight through PEL0087 heading to a different survey location, not PEL0087.
2. The SW EMPRESS turns south to commence seismic acquisition in PEL0083, not PEL0087.
3. The SW EMPRESS commences 3D seismic acquisition in PEL0087.
4. If 3 happens, hopefully PCL announce that 3D seismic acquisition has commenced in PEL0087, along with farmout details???

To keep updated on the heading/position of the SW EMPRESS, use the link below to Marine Traffic. I know I will, as I want to confirm if the SW EMPRESS commences working in PEL0087 or not. Fingers crossed holders.
