I don't claim to have a clinical research background but can sniff out persistent incompetence and worse, after many years in a regulatory environment.

What irks me is the reductionist, blinding with science approach that some have adopted with an enthusiasm that bookends their previous overconfidence.

The situation needs to be seen in policy-making totality, not taking one element and flogging that to the detriment of the wider context.

The insulting posts that persistently lecture me what double blind trials are about (as if I don't know), have been difficult to endure.
