    Nord Pacific filled and left this morning - that's it for 2023, 4.66m tonnes. Last two self loaders will form part of 2024. Whilst not the perfect ending we hoped for getting to 5m, its a really impressive quarter and will certainly be a profitable year. I'll follow up with the last two ships when they depart but makes no difference to this years figures. Q4 is the best quarter that I can remember.

    As always, the risks for MMI are equipment breakdown and weather - this year the equipment held up but weather played its part at the end. The Ikamba hasn't arrived yet so could call that equipment issues but fortunately won't be a problem. 2023 is the year for getting everything set up, production improved, targets met, cash being generated and moving to profitability.

    2024 will be the game changer - when the Ikamba is filling Capesized ships at a 6-7m tonne rate then we will see the true value of MMI emerge
