But it's not really goodwill value, is it? It's called "Intangible assets" & defined under GAAP protocols for publication of financial accounts, and that's why I said 'independently audited'.
Bringing things to account at cost is almost the most conservative way to value a patent portfolio, trade secret portfolio, licensing entitlements etc. Not much sizzle there.
To find out a much better way (not the best) to value the intangible assets of Mesoblast Limited, all holders have to do is wait until 2 August, or thereabouts.
