Professionals often prefer to repeat the same trick many many many times - not just on CR's.
The thinking is that a thousand trades of a half per cent profit is easier to achieve than 100 trades of a 5% profit. So repeated opening and closing is the way to go. Insurance can be built upon with separate trading entities starting from a position of strength in one of them in case the trade strategy has a bad patch.
