He has lost it he has borrowed the company that he runs now $500,000.00 so he could safe guard his first investment of probably about 3 million dollars so anyway he is in control as yes there is no certainties but at least he has a large steak to consider. Larger than Ross ever did so he has a lot more to bother if nothing is returned. So why do you consider or imply its lost just because of the share price and current financials.
He knows at the most he can totally buy the company for that sum if need be and all the phosphate if it went bad so I think he is probably content in that thought.
Think small be small.
