Peru, is the sleeping giant its always been there we are INCA. Even with political issues and upsets.
Peru still exports No 2 worldwide in copper each year behind Chile and that is where they want to stay so they need discoveries for depleting resources. BHP are in the hunt in the area they did sell but are back looking Rio Tinto is also present in the area and Anglo so who knows and we have S32 our past partners so don't ever think Peru is a forgotten prospect. The 2 Copper mines I was involved in construction in Peru were Constansia ( Hudbay Canada ) & Las Bambas China Mitmetals Corp ( Temp Shut ) locals dispute but produced 2% of the world copper use. Imagine the Government Tax credits lost from the no productive Las Bambas Mine revenues. Peruvian Government are fully aware copper is a huge part of their Gross Domestic Product. Never under estimate Peru.
