For me, my gut feeling for the Alpaca Hill drilling has now swung back to negative - this is because the time it is taking and the lack of any update from ICG. No news is bad news.
Another share I own - SER - drilled a magnetic/gravity high in Queensland and commenced about Sept 13 - with Qld Government co funding. From what I can determine it took until Dec 6 before SER announced they had several goes at drilling, because of shear away from target - in the end they drilled a vertical hole. Shear and lack of timely advice sound pretty familiar The assays are pretty ordinary.
As for ICG - we simply do not know what they are doing and if one benchmarked the information flow for Alpaca against Mac Creek, one may also come to he same negative view. I hope I am wrong - and not going to buy any more if sp drops. I doubt very much if there will be any drilling after this Thursday, even if drilling not completed - the drilling crew might be keen to return home and enjoy their Xmas bonus too.
