US bank failures happen all the time, and SVB (investing their depositor's funds in old bonds returning 0.5% while current ones return 4%) and Signature Bank (investing same in crypto which fell 40%) are examples where their 'Great Technical Team' failed themselves and their backers. They deserved to fail however the Fed needs a kick up the ass for not regulating them because they were not too big to fail.
As for Credit Suisse - everyone knows they acted for the shadowy side of money laundering and tax evasion - their SP has been in a spiral for years. No surprise that they are in trouble especially since Saudi Bank pulled the plug. Recall that Rivkin took the insurance payout of that suss printing plant fire to Switzerland, and he 'exposed' them when they used the money without his permission. Poor Renie !!
Sure @Poet it is in our personal interests to see this pull back go lower so we can invest our substantial dry powder, but I am absolutely against engaging in misleading info.
