true, usa/other markets have no direct bearing on ICG, but they do have bearing on ASX - and if ASX has a really good day it can flow onto ICG thus indirectly can have an effect on ICG. a bad usa/other market also flows onto ASX and then ICG suffers - be it lack of interest or sp drops
