Why i moved into niobium -a wonder metal that increases battery charge capacity and battery life. Every day now technological advancements in range so much so no doubt in my mind batteries will put my mind at rest in the Simpson Desert
I just did a trip in the Pilbara must have passed several hundred road trains all fossil fuels - and people commented city folks don't understand how reliant we still are on fossil fuels. But only back five minutes and I see electric truck orders around the globe that are staggering - so I have to accept its happening at a rate we don't yet understand. Electric trucks and aircraft are a reality.
But batteries for firming capacity are a joke -we need new clean coal fired power stations or more gas to transition or we are headed for an energy crisis.
