Still showing that graphite is going to be in more of a shortage than lithium. Both materials, and others, are going to be needed in huge quantities this decade and next.
Segue to Tesla investor day/masterplan 3... if anybody can tell me how Tesla can make enough batteries in the US this decade without getting some anode from Novonix I'd love to see the roadmap! There's just not enough alternate supply that would avoid 25% Chinese tarrifs and also receive all the Biden tax credits and payments. I'm not suggesting Novonix will be mentioned at the event, but if you know about battery materials in North America I think it's going to become clear that NAM is a very hot commodity now and for the next decade or more.
