Two or three days ago, Dubbo in NSW has 44mm of rain.
Overnight to 0900 AEDT, Parkes (slightly further south) has above 21mm.
In southern NSW, Cootamundra has just benefited from 20mm: in the old scale, 80 per cent of an inch of rain.
While these rainfall results have not been replicated in the major granary of northwest NSW (such as at Narrabri), they may cement graingrowers' views as to how many hectares should be planted and of what crop(s).
