"it never rains but it pours" could well be today's NSW maxim.
The rain hasn't stopped in many areas but in the (almost) 24 hours to 0840 AEDT, Gunnedah in the northwest has had 24.2/27.2 millimetres at its two BOM weather stations, Narrabri 28.2mm and Moree 33.6mm, with Walgett to the west (perhaps regarded as more 'marginal' country for graingrowing, but I'm not a cocky) 11.8mm while Goondiwindi just over the border in Queensland has enjoyed a mammoth 67.8mm.
Further south, Coonamble north of Dubbo has had 27.8mm, Dubbo itself 36.8mm while Condobolin on the Parkes to Broken Hill main rail line has seen a smaller 12.8mm.
Temora has had 15.6mm and West Wyalong 19.6mm. Forbes and Parkes have each had around 10mm, but Cowra 23.2mm, so it is variable: no surprise with that comment.
In the Riverina, Wagga Wagga has had a smaller 8.8mm and Narrandera just 4.6mm but if the BOM radar is accurate, light rain appears to be still falling.
Given the planting season is upon us, this NSW rain couldn't have come at a better time, says I the urban dweller. But DYOR.
