We’ll be presenting our research on neuromorphic computing at the IAC2024 in Milan next week!Raphaël Mena MoralesDiviya D.Eric KnappenbergerMichael Skreta Georgios Metaxas Prerna Baranwal and I, are excited to present and explore how brain-like computers could reshape the future of space exploration.Neuromorphic computing uses asynchronous communication and data-compute collocation to reduce power consumption needs. Through its smart application, the energy cost of running neural networks can be reduced by orders of magnitude for some applications.This allows for the use of AI onboard smaller satellites, enabling more autonomous missions that deliver more value for less effort.Our research is applied to the methane emissions detection mission designed by Andrew Karim's team within #SGAC's Small Satellite Project Group. Methane leaks can make a natural gas power plant be as polluting as a coal power plant, and fighting them is key to keeping atmospheric CO2 levels as low as possible.Are you interested?     Yogesh Baisyet Our design is built around the Akida-1000, although this is still early stage
