No-one is doubting that a company would prefer stability and results and these are reasonable questions for sure.
The key word you used is "if".
Will we find out the reasons, unlikely so it's a moot discussion to a point.
Do we know how heavily involved in the hiring process Sean is, I don't but as stated, we do know the buck stops with him and yes, results are required.
Does looking backwards achieve these, not in my book, so forwards is the only true option imo and that is where those results have to start appearing.
