"A behemoth like Cisco partnered with BRN a few years ago..."
Short story .. 7 years ago a friend of mine had a fledgling tech start up.. he reached out to me as an employee of a global organisation we'll call XY, to see if we would buy his tech.. the response from our CEO was "our IT department could design something similar".. what happened over those 7 years.
- 6 months later Forbes predicted that only half of the existing Global 2000 sector companies would exist in 10 years.
- Our organisation, XY, spent 4 years developing a product that was half as good, meanwhile they were leapfrogged.
- The fledgling took 5 years to fall into relationships with the likes of Canva and Atlassian and is now global.
- After 7 years, the fledgling has a market capitalisation of approx 10% of the market capitalisation of "XY", which has been in existence for over 100 years.
Straight question TJ, how do you know Cisco isn't the next "XY"..?
