This Unigen Edge AI server, called Cupcake 2 by them (they also have a Cupcake without AI on their website), just how good is that?
I bring in the current very hot Hailo AI chip for comparison (actually, Hailo is talked about many time by people that it is the most power/cost efficient AI chip commercially available so far )
The chip details can be checked on their web and there is this article ran the review on it.

This is the power rating from the article. Noted here, the 3TOPS per watt is the total power consumption including the CPU +AI chips running. If to make an equvilant 52TOPS module as the Cupcake 2, the total power consumption would be around 160W
Just look at the spec sheet from Unigen,
There is fundemental differences in how Akida is running comparing to other AI module.
The above 'best in class' is about to change vendor's name soon.
