Think it will be some time before we hear of anything re this from a commercial sense.

Dev cycles are not short unfortunately as we've already experienced with various partners.

Where I see the positives in something like this is that it provides and proves up another industry use case that not only someone like Ericsson play in.

The paper has just come out and the team would've taken time to initially design the research parameters, the equipment / hardware specs, algos to function and then build the prototype, run the requisite tests, gather results and then provide all that and the outcomes in a report.

These steps don't take a few weeks or couple of months I suspect so suggest they have been working with Akida for several months at least if not a year plus.

This would give them a pretty good understanding of its capabilities, possible other uses for them and also being able to at least advance a dev cycle a little.

What would be fantastic is if they decided on a licence sooner than later or (unfortunately we wouldn't know it) sign an agreement with Megachips or Renesas of which we would get royalties obviously if / when commercialised.
