At the price of 20c a share, a package of 100k share will cost $20k (the trading price would be much higher if we look at it for the last few days). Considering the history of volatility here, I do not see how Mum/Dads will spend over $20K on BRN easily. So this is '0' chance the retails are building up the $300M size of trading for the last few weeks.
This is 100% by funds, shorts and funds. They created the volume and took advantage of some retails and some poorly performing funds.
More importantly, this rise pushed BRN market cap significantly and even with today's MC of 668M, BRN is not kicked out of ASX300 at the coming March reblanceing (the market data cut off for determining the rebalancing is last Friday, so this one is mission completed).
Now funds will play for sure and meanwhile, the milestones and sales events will create waves for everyone.
