They abruptly said they don't need china after extensive planning to open an innovation centre in shanghai. This directly preceded the NASA collaboration and various defence related SBIR projects. Its pretty obvious that they were ask to ease up on the relationship building with china as the US wanted the inside track on what brainchip has to offer.
