The obvious differentiator between Brainchip's AKIDA technology and GSI's tech based solely on this table is clearly power use and that the project currently being developed by ISL is "a new low-power, lightweight detect and avoid (DAA) system for very small UAS platforms that exploits automotive radar hardware, light-weight EO/IR sensors, advanced data fusion algorithms, and neuromorphic computing."A current GSI Gemini-1 APU running at 80Watts is hardly likely to be suitable for such a system so it would seem that there is no basis for drawing any conclusions regarding the prospects of Brainchip and ISL continuing to be engaged in projects with the Airforce Research Lab.

Indeed the main question that arises is why would someone only post the headline when the first paragraph of the headlined article about GSI makes clear it is a project to develop a chip not a contract to supply and use this article to claim it has cancelled any engagement that exists between ISL, Brainchip and the US Airforce Research Lab? Does this make any sense?
