The biggest fact we humans know is there is no system more power efficient than human brain. That is why every technology coming is trying to match that efficiency.
When we talk about event based processors they take their motivation from human brain.
we also know SNN is the way human brain operate.
So the only company getting near to that efficiency is brainchip and other neurophonic architects. So atleast I have no doubt brainchip is the best technology. But again to mimic the human brain we have memory and spikes and that is why we can perform complex tasks without much of a effort.
In the end, only the time will tell how near we are to human brain intelligence but even if we can get 2-5% there we will be well ahead of others in no time
