Unfortunately, the Akida technology is starting to remind me of the Rotary wankel engine.
Lots of pros - light weight, more power, less fuel, lots of hype, tested in Germany.
But it just didn't sell - people thought spare parts will dry up, you won't be able to find anyone to repair, it's just too exotic.
What will happen when the list of 100 NDA's starts to shorten? Surely then, you must admit, it is the CEO's job to manufacture some announcements, that show currently active NDA's are in fact active ie producing something, and not just in sleep mode.
So the question really is, how can we assure OEM's wanting to invest in their own Akida based chip, that that investment is future -proofed?
