Google Undersea ‘hybrid warfare’ threatens security of 1bn, Nato commander warns (msn.com)
“They [the companies responsible for them] didn’t know that such hybrid warfare would develop so rapidly. More than 90% of [the] internet is under the sea. All our links between the US, Canada and Europe are transmitting under the sea, so there are a lot of vulnerabilities.”
Will not be long before terrorist groups (besides Russia) have the capabilities. Starting to make the cloud look a little vulnerable. Cut off the internet and banking, business etc would be in a shambles.
