When it becomes fun is when you take Microchip’s profit of 5.69 billion US and divide it by 120,000 customers and find the average sale value is about 47,000 US and multiply that by 1,200 customers and arrive at $US56 million.
I note however that in the CES 2024 podcast with Brainchip Microchip makes the point that the joint product offering is for high end use so the price point is likely to be above this average. A bit of fun nonetheless.
