Effectively the TRL chart shows the extent to which a technology has been developed and deployed.
The most nascent of technologies sit down the lower levels of the chart. Think purely experimental and hypothetical in nature. Say in this example, the discovery of atoms at level 1. Level 3 would pertain to working out the calculations of splitting the atoms. As you progress, you come into the development stage, think working out the practical physics and realities of how to split the atoms, and then achieving it in the lab. Next comes the deployment phase - Level 7 being the demonstration of the technology in an operational environment (test bomb) - and then finally dull deployment of technology in an operational environment... Actually dropping the Nuclear bombs.

I feel as if BRN have definitely demonstrated their technology in a relevant environment (TRL 6), and arguably up to lvl 8. An example of lvl 7 would be their technology in the concept Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX. This is certainly an operational environment, and by all accounts with the success that the concept car has had in setting distance records due to the ultra low power usage, one could say the have achieved TRL 8 (system complete and qualified). My expectation is IF and only IF they manage to find customers that bring in revenue for BRN, will they have achieved TRL 9. And as i can gather that is what LTSH's of BRN are looking for in order to get the stock trending upwards.

Truthfully, my knowledge of its competitors aren't very well formed. If i am correct i would say many of them are in the development phase. However the risk that BRN faces is, despite the First in class headstart that they have, if they do not achieve TRL 9 before larger and better known companies such as INTEL or NVDA, they risk being over taken. The better known companies will be able to commercialise much quicker more due to their market position than their technology actually being superior.
