But we are not choosing one over the other.

Research compiled (by the posters who prefer concepts to tantrums) and presented here, tells us that BRN is moving forward on multiple fronts working with institutions and companies spanning many technologies, industries, and applications.

It would appear BRN is not just helping companies get to market with AI applications NOW they are simultaneously (and also, not instead of) seeding the market with engineers, researchers, academics, and tinkerers who are familiar with and eventually competent at working with Akida and associated tools.

Those working hard to get products in to market now will be playing their cards close to their chests seeking to protect their IP and competitive advantage. They will provide the early revenue and proof of technology (one day).

The latter group who are openly talking about their research will be the ones who eventually develop the next big AI thing and it will be likley based on BRN's neuromorphic technologies. You'd need the imagination of Aldous Huxley or Isaac Asimov to guess what could be coming.

This is a smart strategy.

AI (and in particular neuromorphic AI) is nascent. Whereas AI based on Von Neumann architecture (even when boosted by parallel processing on GPU) is a rubber band stretched to the limits of how many billion transistors you can fit on a pin head.

This is how you build a giant company on the back of break through technology.

Not saying it won't go tits-up (you know risk and all, and BRN isn't the only company pushing "brilliance" in this space) but I think it's a horse that has the inside running.

Certainly too early to be calling the vet.
